Tyrone William Griffin Jr. (born April 13, 1982),[1] known professionally as Ty Dolla Sign (stylized as Ty Dolla $ign or Ty$), is an American singer, songwriter and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He first gained recognition for his guest appearance on hometown rapper YG's 2010 single "Toot It and Boot It", which entered the Billboard Hot 100 as his first minor hit. He signed with Atlantic Records in 2012, and Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment the following year.[2]
Hit Different[]
American singer-songwriter SZA and Ty Dolla $ign made their first collaboration with "Hit Different", a song that was released on September 4, 2020, along with a music video. Remnants of the song's pre-chorus can be heard near the end of "Love Language", the fifth track on SZA's second studio album, SOS.
